Fun, Easy and Surprising Ways to Fill a Notebook or Journal - Part 2

Hey, hey!

Got some blank or half-used notebooks lying around that you don't know what do to with?

As promised, here's part 2 in our series. Come follow along over the next few weeks as we dive into some easy ways to use them up!

Part 2:

Meal Planner - Planning your meals in advance can make things easier on your budget. It can also help you reduce food waste and reduce the stress of the dreaded 'what to make for lunch/dinner' situation.

Goal Setting Journal - It's true, that which gets tracked grows. Did you know that experts believe we're 40% more likely to achieve a goal if we just write it down? There's something about keeping your goals handy and seeing them on paper that just hits different. It really starts to train your mind around achieving those goals.

Brain Dump - A fun way to empty your mind of thoughts and ideas. You can use any method you'd like, but essentially the goal is to write down WHATEVER comes to mind. I usually have what seems like 50,000 thoughts running around in my head at all times. 'Dumping' them out this way is like taking out the trash/recycling. Although it seems simple, it can improve your sleep, help you gain mental clarity etc.

Diary - This is an awesome way to keep track of your everyday life, monitor your emotions, your stress levels etc. Diaries are definitely not just for young girls.

Budget / Debt Tracker - I know it isn't sexy, but becoming debt-free is so worth it! One of the best ways to get there is to KNOW exactly how much you owe and to whom, how long it will take you to pay it off, etc. Then, you can tweak things as needed to pay it down faster where possible (i.e. paying higher-interest debts off first).

Creating a budget and writing it all down helps you to visually see what's coming in as well as what's going out and gives you a roadmap that'll help you keep on track.

That's it for today! Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we discover more fun ways to fill those pages and how that can help us live better, healthier, more organized lives!
